Director's Message
Hello March! As spring approaches, we eagerly anticipate the arrival of warmer weather, perfect for outdoor play.
Program Highlights
Engagement Activities
This month, we'll be delving into two exciting themes: Ocean & Marine Life and Inventions & Inventors. Children will explore the wonders of the ocean ecosystem and learn about influential inventors who have left their mark on history with their innovative creations. They'll also have the chance to unleash their own creativity by inventing new things!
Professional Development
A few members of the administrative team at Happy Hall recently attended a conference in Fresno. The event offered invaluable insights into expanded learning opportunity programs, featuring workshops covering a range of topics from STEAM activities to fostering growth mindsets and effective communication with children. Other discussions included methods to improve literacy and math instruction in classrooms. The conference provided a great opportunity to network with colleagues.
Next month, our teaching staff is set to engage in professional development sessions centered on child guidance, group management, and preparations for our upcoming summer camp.
Community Events
We're eagerly anticipating the opportunity to welcome your child to our Spring Camp, scheduled from April 1st to April 5th, 2024. It brings us great joy to see the children actively participating in our planned activities, relishing their time outdoors, and forming cherished memories with friends outside of regular school hours. We're excited to craft unforgettable experiences together during this camp session!
Reminders
March 8th: No school, but camp is available.
Spring Break: April 1st to April 5th: No school, but camp is available.
Looking Ahead
With appreciation, I must inform you all that Ms. Rose will no longer be part of our team at Happy Hall. Though her departure saddens us, we're eager to cheer her on as she begins a new journey.
Taking on the role of Lead Teacher, we extend a warm welcome to Ms. Jules! We are confident that her transition will be smooth, ensuring ongoing support and a nurturing atmosphere for the children.
Furthermore, we are very happy to welcome Ms. Bay, who will be teaching Group 1, and Ms. Nadia, who will be teaching Group 2!
Should you have any questions or concerns during this transition, please feel free to reach out to me. Your understanding and support are immensely valued as we navigate these changes together.
