Happy Hall @ Green Hills | September Newsletter

Director's Message

Happy September, Happy Hall Families! We hope the school year has started off well for everyone. We're excited about the month ahead and all the engaging activities we have planned for the students. We’ve truly enjoyed getting to know each and every one of your children in our program.

Program Highlights

Engagement Activities
For the month of September, we will continue exploring our "Community" theme and introduce two new themes: "The Natural World" and "Space Exploration." In "The Natural World," students will delve into diverse ecosystems and environmental factors, fostering an appreciation for nature, an understanding of biological diversity, and a sense of environmental stewardship. "Space Exploration" will ignite curiosity about the universe, guiding students through the mysteries of celestial bodies, space missions, and astrophysics, sparking their interest in astronomy and space science.

Professional Development
In the coming month, we will have a staff development day that will bring all school-age staff from our Millbrae locations together to review  classroom management, health and safety practices, and conduct a general review.

Reminders
  • As a reminder, please remember that only staff and students are permitted in the classroom.
  • Please label your child’s belongings with their name. Our lost and found is starting to fill up!
  • If your child will be absent from Happy Hall, kindly inform us via text, email, or 1Core.

Looking Ahead
Next month's curriculum will focus on "Weather and Seasons" as well as "Sounds and Music." We're excited to explore what these themes will bring to our activities!
