Director's Message
Welcome back to school to our new and returning children and their families! I am excited you will be joining us at Happy Hall this year. It’s always wonderful to see new faces and to welcome back the children who have been with us throughout their time at Meadows. My name is Marina, and I have been with Happy Hall @ Meadows for over 26 years now. Each year has brought unique and enriching experiences, helping me grow and learn in a place I consider a second home. I hope that your children will feel that same warmth and joy throughout our groups this year and join me in creating a welcoming and nurturing environment for all.
Program Highlights
Engagement Activities
Our first few weeks of school will focus on building a strong community, developing friendships, and working together to make a positive impact on each other and our surroundings. We will explore the principles of good citizenship and learn how to be responsible members of our community. Through team activities, we will enhance our physical skills and understand the importance of collaboration. Additionally, we will explore the role of planning in a community and engage in art projects to express our collective creativity.
Professional Development
Our staff has been hard at work updating their training and preparing our program for the school year. You'll notice that we will be continuing to revamp our spaces and schedules to ensure the best fit for each group over the first few months. Our team is dedicated to creating the most developmentally appropriate environment for each group.
Community Events
We will be hosting a welcoming event for all families in September. Keep an eye out for a notification with the date and time.
Please note the following important dates:
Minimum Days: 8/12 & 8/13, with a 12:15 PM dismissal. Staff will pick up your children at dismissal time.
Back to School Night: 8/12
Reminders
As we start the new school year, please make sure you have read our program policies and completed all required forms for Happy Hall. Each parent and any additional authorized individuals must have their unique 4-digit code when picking up or dropping off your child. Be sure to enter all necessary information into your family parent portal. You can access this information through your 1Core Family App.
