Happy Hall @ Taylor Middle Newsletter | December

Director's Message

November was a wonderful month, marked by students forming meaningful connections with each other and deepening their sense of community. It was also a time where we saw the positive impact of strong parent communication, which has played a crucial role in supporting student growth and engagement. We truly appreciate the ongoing collaboration and look forward to continuing this partnership throughout the year.

Program Highlights

Engagement Activities

We’re excited to share our themes for this month: "Oceans and Marine Life" and "Reactions and Mixtures." This month, we’ll explore the wonders of the ocean, diving into marine ecosystems and the importance of conservation. At the same time, we’ll experiment with chemical reactions and mixtures, encouraging curiosity in science. We look forward to a month of discovery and learning.

Reminders

This is a friendly reminder to review the Happy Hall policies. Understanding these guidelines helps ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.

To ensure child safety, your child must check in no later than 10 minutes after the bell rings. If they need to talk to their teacher after school, please remind your child to tell one of our teachers first.

Please notify us if your child will be absent from the program for the day. You can send an email to taylormiddle@happyhall.com, call/text 650.609.1117, or notify us through the 1CORE app

Lastly, please complete our Walk-Home Authorization Form for the following:

  • If you want your child to walk home after sign-out

  • If you would like for your child to meet you in the parking lot for pick-up

  • If your child will be leaving early/coming in late from an on-campus extracurricular activity

Looking Ahead

Next month, we’ll continue our exploration of "Reactions and Mixtures," diving deeper into the fascinating world of chemical reactions and experiments. Following that, we’ll shift our focus to two exciting new themes: "Game Lab," where students will engage with the science of games and strategy, and "Eco Warriors," where we’ll learn about environmental conservation and how we can all make a positive impact on the planet. It’s sure to be an engaging and educational month ahead!
