Director's Message
April was a bustling month, and as we transition into May, the pace is only expected to pick up. With the school year drawing to a close, we have planned a series of additional activities to commemorate friendships, celebrate growth, and maintain our daily curriculum momentum.
I hope each of you had a delightful Mother's Day and were showered with love and appreciation by your friends and families.
Personally, I had a fantastic vacation traveling to Texas to visit my family and exploring some breathtaking destinations in Utah.
As we approach the end of the academic year, I am eagerly anticipating the final stretch and preparing for the summer ahead!
Program Highlights
Engagement Activities
In this last month of the school year, our focus will be on celebrating the journey we've had together and reflecting on the fun, friendships, and sense of community we've built throughout the year.
We have an exciting lineup of activities planned, including Doodle Cubes, Memory Jar Art, Lego Challenges, Spring Murals, Beginning Gardening, Minute to Win It games, and more. These activities are designed to bring joy, foster creativity, and strengthen the bonds we've formed as a community. Let's make the most of our remaining time together and create lasting memories!
Professional Development
In May, some of our staff members will be dedicated to preparing for our Summer Camp and EL Camps. Their primary focus will revolve around ensuring safety, effective class management, leading engaging workshops, and maintaining the smooth flow of activities throughout the camp sessions. We are committed to providing enriching and secure experiences for all our campers, and our staff's efforts in these areas are crucial to achieving that goal.
Community Events
Last week was a wonderful celebration of Teacher Appreciation! Each day, our dedicated staff was treated to something special, culminating in a fantastic event on May 9th at our main site. We were thrilled to have a food truck from Sunrise Deli join us, offering mouthwatering delights, and the excitement continued with raffle prizes for our incredible team. A heartfelt thank you to all our fantastic families who generously contributed food, gifts, and treats throughout the week. Your kindness and support truly make a world of difference to us!
