Thank you to everyone who helped make our Haunted House & Potluck such a fun and delicious event! The children had a fantastic time and truly enjoyed all the holiday excitement.
We’re looking forward to November and celebrating this season of gratitude with all of you!
Program Highlights
Engagement Activities
This month, our curriculum will explore Harmonious Hues, Natural Wonders, and Modern Masterpieces. Activities will include drum painting, interpretive art, number run, turtle tag, coral reef creations, great redwoods art, and much more!
We’ll also focus on gratitude, discussing the people and things we are thankful for this month, as well as the importance of friendships and how to be a good friend.
Professional Development
This past weekend, our staff participated in a First Aid and CPR class to update their certifications.
As a team, we’re also working on adjusting schedules, enhancing communication about each group’s needs, and finding new ways to support the children throughout the day.
Community Events
We will celebrate friendship together with our Thanksgiving Feast on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 3:00-4:30 pm with the children.
Our upcoming camp days are November 25-27, 2024. An email will be sent out shortly with the flier for more information.
Reminders
We will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2024, in observance of Veterans Day. Additionally, we will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 28 and 29, for the Thanksgiving holiday.
As the weather cools down, please remember to pack a jacket or hoodie for your child in case it gets chilly before pick-up time.
Looking Ahead
Our annual Happy Hall-iday Event @ Meadows will take place on Wednesday December 18, 2024. We look forward to seeing you all there!
We are thankful for all our Meadows families and appreciate everything you do to partner with us in making your children’s time here a wonderful experience.
