Director's Message
Welcome to Happy Hall at Ocean Shore! We are excited to welcome back families and get to know new families joining us! I am excited to show off the updated space and new things we have planned for the upcoming year. Our team has worked hard to create an engaging environment where your children can thrive. From our redesigned play areas to our new educational activities, we are committed to providing a safe and nurturing space for your children to explore, learn, and grow. We can't wait to see the joy and excitement on their faces as they discover all the wonderful opportunities that await them at Happy Hall.
Our program has been operating at Ocean Shore as TTT for many years and recently transitioned to the stewardship of TTT's long-time friends at Happy Hall Schools. With a shared vision, we will continue to provide a nurturing program while incorporating the latest curriculum and tools to enhance the experience for students, families, and staff. Program Highlights
Engagement Activities
For August, we’re excited to explore the theme of "Community.” Students will engage in activities that foster connections with one another and deepen their understanding of their surrounding communities. From collaborative projects to local explorations, it’s going to be a month filled with learning and fun as we build strong relationships and a sense of belonging.
Professional Development
Our staff has been hard at work updating our spaces and ensuring everything is ready for the children's arrival. They have redesigned play areas and classrooms to create an engaging and safe environment. Additionally, our team has undergone training to be fully prepared to support and nurture each child's unique needs. We are ready and excited to provide an exceptional experience for all the children at Happy Hall.
New This Year
1CORE Class App Integration: We are excited to introduce the 1CORE Class app for the new school year, providing you with real-time insights into your child's daily activities and achievements, enhancing our communication and partnership with you.
Extended Hours: We are now open from 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, providing additional flexibility for drop-off and pick-up. Let us know if you would like to adjust your schedule.
Snack: To provide added convenience for our families, we will supply nutritious snacks as part of our program. For our full-day preschool programs, we will offer both a morning and an afternoon snack. Families are required to provide lunches. School-age students will receive an afternoon snack.
Preschool Assessments: Implementing ongoing child assessments will allow us to tailor educational experiences to each child’s needs. Semi-annual parent-teacher conferences will ensure that we are in sync with your aspirations and expectations for your child’s development.
School-Age Enrichment Programs: Beginning in the new school year, our curriculum will be enriched with STEAM, Movement, Mindfulness, SEL, homework support, and special events. These programs are designed to engage and stimulate our students, fostering a well-rounded education.
Student Achievements
We are committed to recognizing student achievements, particularly through the demonstration of essential life skills we will be talking about at Happy Hall. Our focus on responsibility, caring, patience, effort, flexibility, and cooperation will help foster personal growth and confidence in every child. We look forward to highlighting their successes throughout the year.

Reminders
To ensure the safety of our students, all individuals picking up or dropping off at Happy Hall must be authorized through 1CORE. Each authorized person has a unique 4-digit code that must be provided to a teacher when signing in or out. Please make sure everyone on your list is properly registered and informed of their code.

Looking Ahead
Preschool
Looking ahead to the new preschool year, we are filled with excitement and anticipation for the wonderful experiences and growth opportunities awaiting our students. Our curriculum is designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning in every child. We can't wait to embark on this journey together and see all the amazing progress our young learners will make.
School-Age
Along with finishing up our theme of "Community," next month we will be exploring the theme of "The Natural World!” In this upcoming theme, students will embark on a journey through diverse ecosystems and environmental factors that shape our planet. This theme will foster an appreciation for nature, enhance understanding of biological diversity, and promote awareness of environmental stewardship. We look forward to seeing curiosity and enthusiasm as we dive into the wonders of the natural world!
