Happy Hall @ Santa Inez Newsletter | March

Director's Message

Hello everyone! March brings us longer days, showery weather, leprechauns, rainbows and colorful eggs. The color green is a popular color this month. The children will be learning about “what makes the color green”. Why are plants green? Rainbows will be a hot topic this month too. What is a rainbow? Why do rainbows have colors? Fun stuff.

Program Highlights

Classroom Snippets

Red Class:  For the month of March, Red Class will be focusing on developing their motor skills by using tools such as paint brushes, sponges, dot markers and crayons. We will be doing so by creating projects based on the alphabet, Easter and St. Patrick’s Day. We will also be reviewing the alphabet, colors and shapes daily during circle time and incorporating fun games to enhance their learning experience.

Orange Class: During the month of March Orange Class is diving into a world of mathematical discovery! Through engaging activities, Orange will sharpen math skills by sorting various objects based on attributes like size, color, or shape. Through recognizing numbers, Orange will explore numerical patterns and sequencing , fostering a deeper understanding of mathematics. Counting exercises will reinforce numerical fluency, memorizing and recognizing shapes will enhance spatial awareness and geometrical comprehension. With hands-on exploration and playful learning, Orange is set to conquer math challenges and build a strong foundation for future mathematical endeavors. Get ready for a month filled with exploration, creativity, and educational growth in Orange Class!

Yellow Class:  This month we will be working on pre-writing activities like tracing. We will also continue to explore ABA patterns and distinguish the differences between big and small items.
