Director's Message
Happy New Year, Happy Hall families! I hope everyone was able to rest and spend time with loved ones over the holidays.

We had a lot of fun interviewing for this- as you can see, our 6th graders are hilarious!
Program Highlights
Engagement Activities
This month, our STEAM projects will focus on engineering. Students will have the option to participate in activities such as building hydraulic lifts, creating electrical circuits, and building claw grabbers.
Professional Development
This month our team will spend a few hours of staff development to focus on curriculum, Summer Camp information, and to gather as a team and discuss ways to support each other and the children in our programs.
Student Achievements
Our student of the month of December was Hannah! Shout out to Hannah for receiving “Best Vibes” for always staying positive and contributing to creating a fun atmosphere for all students.
Reminders
As a reminder, please be sure to notify staff of absences prior to the end of the school day via texting 650-609-1117 or emailing taylormiddle@happyhall.com.
If you have a schedule change request, please submit this 30 days prior to the change date. This can be done in your 1Core parent portal by selecting the option on the left that says "schedule change".
Looking Ahead
Homework Club:
Taylor Middle School is starting a Homework Center on January 22 which will be a place for students to go and receive help from their teachers with homework. We are happy that students will have this opportunity, especially since it will be right next door to us in the library! *This is a separate program from Happy Hall. *
The school has given these details:
Starting Monday, January 22
Mondays and Tuesdays only from 3:10 PM - 4:10 PM
Students must sign in no later than 3:10 PM
Happy Hall students are more than welcome to attend and go to Happy Hall after it ends. In order to do this, you must sign a release form: https://go.happyhall.com/homework-center

Actividades de Compromiso
