October was a fantastic month filled with fun activities and cherished moments. As we move into November, we're excited about upcoming events and the chance to continue celebrating together. Here’s to more adventures and shared experiences ahead!
Program Highlights
Engagement Activities
This month, we’re excited to dive deeper into our theme of "Health and Well-Being." We'll be focusing on activities and initiatives that promote physical, mental, and emotional wellness. We will then transition into the theme of "Innovations & Inventors.” This engaging theme will allow students to explore groundbreaking inventions and the creative processes that drive innovation. We'll celebrate the pioneers who have shaped our world through their remarkable contributions. Throughout the month, students will be encouraged to think creatively and envision future possibilities, inspiring them to become the next generation of innovators.
Community Events
In October, Taylor Middle School came alive with excitement as they hosted their Halloween dance and international potluck! Students donned their creative costumes and enjoyed a night filled with fun music and dancing. The potluck showcased a delicious array of dishes from various cultures, allowing everyone to share in the joy of community and culinary diversity. It was a fantastic way to celebrate the season and bring the school together!

Reminders
This is a friendly reminder to review the Happy Hall policies. Understanding these guidelines helps ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
To ensure child safety, your child must check in no later than 10 minutes after the bell rings. If they need to talk to their teacher after school, please remind your child to tell one of our teachers first.
Please notify us if your child will be absent from the program for the day. You can send an email to taylormiddle@happyhall.com, call/text 650.609.1117, or notify us through the 1CORE app.
Lastly, please complete our Walk-Home Authorization Form for the following:
If you want your child to walk home after sign-out
If you would like for your child to meet you in the parking lot for pick-up
If your child will be leaving early/coming in late from an on-campus extracurricular activity
Looking Ahead
We’re thrilled to announce our upcoming themes: "Oceans and Marine Life" and "Reactions and Mixtures!" Next month, we’ll explore the wonders of the ocean, diving into marine ecosystems and the importance of conservation. Simultaneously, we’ll experiment with chemical reactions and mixtures, sparking curiosity in science. Get ready for an exciting journey of discovery and learning!
