Happy October Taylor Trailblazer families. We’re thrilled to have completed our first full month of Happy Hall! The energy and enthusiasm of our students and staff have truly made it a special place. As we step into October, we can’t wait to unveil new activities, projects, and experiences that will make this school year even more memorable. Here’s to a season of growth, creativity, and joy! Let’s keep the momentum going!
Program Highlights
Engagement Activities
This month, we're continuing our exploration of “Decade Discovery.” We will then be diving into the themes of "Food and Nutrition" and "Health and Well-Being." We'll start by uncovering the role of physical fitness and healthy nutrition, exploring how a balanced lifestyle can contribute to holistic well-being. On the other side, we'll delve into the aspects of mental and emotional well-being, focusing on building resilience and practicing mindfulness.
Professional Development
On October 14, all school-age Millbrae staff will gather for a professional development day at Meadows. This exciting opportunity will allow our dedicated educators to collaborate, share best practices, and enhance their skills to better support our students.

Reminders
This is a friendly reminder to review the Happy Hall policies. Understanding these guidelines helps ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
To ensure child safety, your child must check in no later than 10 minutes after the bell rings. If they need to talk to their teacher after school, please remind your child to tell one of our teachers first.
Please notify us if your child will be absent from the program for the day. You can send an email to taylormiddle@happyhall.com, call/text 650.609.1117, or notify us through the 1CORE app.
Lastly, please complete our Walk-Home Authorization Form for the following:
If you want your child to walk home after sign-out
If you would like for your child to meet you in the parking lot for pick-up
If your child will be leaving early/coming in late from an on-campus extracurricular activity
Looking Ahead
Next month, we will look into the theme of "Innovations & Inventors". This engaging theme will allow students to explore groundbreaking inventions and the creative processes that drive innovation. We'll celebrate the pioneers who have shaped our world through their remarkable contributions. Throughout the month, students will be encouraged to think creatively and envision future possibilities, inspiring them to become the next generation of innovators.
